French Day Camp Customer survey

SUMMER 2011

Thank you to all of you who took the time to complete our end of summer survey. We experienced an increase in our response rate this year which is great. The results are in and for our French day camp programs, 86% of our campers were Very satisfied or satisfied!! Our Intrépides-en-Route campers rated this program at 92% VERY SATISFIED!!

Thank you for sending your child to Camp Tournesol this summer. This was a very successful year with 6 campuses and close to 1400 campers attending our camps. We thoroughly enjoyed working with your children and seeing their improvement in French over their week(s) at our French Immersion camp.

We strive to provide a challenging yet fun and nurturing environment in which your children will feel confident to develop their verbal skills.

The Results

DAY CAMP

Here are the breakdown of the results for the French day camp programs:

• The results include 41% from Mississauga, 30% from York, 22% from Oakville and 7% from Brampton;
• These families had children in the Boute-en-Train program (29%), the Curieux, Espiègles and the Intrépides program (70%);
• 86% were very satisfied or satisfied;
• 86% would send their child again;
• 89% would recommend the camp to their friends;
• 92% chose our camp because of the French content;
• 21% heard about us through friends;
• Our busing service was rated 2.5 out of 3 (3 being fantastic)
• Our staff overall rating was 2.6 out of 3 (3 being fantastic)

INTRÉPIDES-EN-ROUTE

Here is the breakdown of the results for the Intrépides-en-Route program:

• 23% found out about these trips by being on our email distribution list;
• 88% chose them for the French content;
• 92% were VERY satisfied with 6% somewhat satisfied and NONE unsatisfied;
• 89% are likely to send their child again;
• 89 % are likely to recommend this program to their friends;
• Our counselors were rated 2.7 out of 3 (3 being fantastic);
• The destination was rated 2.7 out of 3
• The accommodation were rated 2.5 out of 3;
• The food was rated 2.6 out of 3;
• The French component (heard it, spoke it and exposed to it) was rated 2.7 out of 3.

Did you know that 66% of our campers come for more than 1 week each summer?
