Overnight Experiences

We offer 2 types of French overnight trips:

INTRÉPIDES-EN-ROUTE

This is a shorter overnight stay (1 week) within the province for younger campers to allow them to sample the experience. Visit our short trip page to read about our offering for the Intrépides-en-Route for this year.

OVERNIGHT TRIPS

Every year, Camp Tournesol organizes an out-of-the-ordinary, overnight experience for your child. They are usually trips of about 12 to 13 days in the province of Quebec, North Ontario or Europe.

The goal of each of these adventures is to place your child in a situation to use their French and expose them to a French culture in a fun environment. These are not typical group tours but they are developed with the flavor of a family trip.

The trips are supervised by experienced teachers and Camp Tournesol counselors with a maximum of 1 to 7 counselor to campers ratio. The trips are usually open to children from the age of 10 to 16 years old and are for 12 to 13 days. They are built to help your child develop a sense of independence and a sense of confidence in their french language skills.
