Algonquin 2012 Fees

The following gives the low down for the cost of this amazing trip:

FEE TO CAMP TOURNESOL

If registering before December 16th 2011: $1,200.00 (plus HST)

If registering after December 16th 2011 BUT BEFORE MARCH 1st: $1,300

If registering after March 1st, 2012: $1,375.00 (plus HST)

This includes all meals and equipment including canoes, tents, waterproofing bag, permit fees and guides.  It also includes a specially made hoodie and a Tournesol t-shirt. It does not include additional medical insurance and personal expenses.  Campers are responsible only for their clothes and personal effects.

Payment schedule is as follows:

  • Upon registration: non refundable deposit $350 plus HST ($395.50).   The deposit can be transferred to another program for the same child up to January 15th.
  • January 16th: 2nd installment of $500 plus HST ($565)
  • April 2nd: Remaining balance to Camp Tournesol.

This fee is based on a minimum of 18 participants.

If registering past January 16th, registration must be accompanied by the deposit and the 1st installment.

TRANSPORTATION to and from Algonquin

The cost of transportation to and from the Algonquin Park is not included in the cost.  Parents are expected to drop off and pick up their child directly themselves.  If there are sufficient parents interested, we can arrange to have a charter coach bus transport the child to and from the Park.  The cost for this would be divided by the interested parents.  More details will follow.
