Register for a summer of fun at our French Summer Camps

DID YOU KNOW?  Confirmation emails as well as camper’s package are sent via email.  They are sent differently than our e-newsletter so the fact that you receive our e-newsletter does not guarantee that you will receive the confirmations.  Please take the time to follow these instructions to ensure that you receive all our emails.

Be directed to our secure registration site. You can use it even if you prefer to pay by cheque. This way you will ensure that there are no errors in capturing your data and your spot is reserved immediately and you will be able to take advantage of our discounts if applicable. Please note that you will receive an email confirmation once the registration is processed and placement is secured. If you do not receive it within one (1) week, please contact us.

If you prefer to register with a form. Please follow the procedures below.

Step 1

REGISTRATION FORM

To register, you will need to complete the registration form and ensure that you have signed the form and attached payment to secure a spot. You will also need to forward a completed lunch and medical form. These 2 forms may be sent at the time of registration or at a later date but no later than June 30th. Make sure to fill out all the fields including t-shirt size for your free Tournesol t-shirt. Make sure to calculate the HST. MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS discount DOES NOT apply if not registering online. Please note that you can always switch weeks and campus at no charge once registered as long as there is space in the program. If registering for before and after care, simply add the amount in the appropriate field. Ensure that the Before and After care is offered at the campus you are registering for by verifying on the campus location page. Please download the registration package which includes the 1- Registration form 2- Lunch order form 3- Medical/Epipen form 4. CIT application form (PDF or DOCX) to apply for the counselor-in-training program. If you would like to use our busing service, please ensure to fill out the name of the bus stop you would like to use from our bus stop list. For more details, visit our busing section. Note that the Intrépides-en-route program will only run with a minimum of 20 campers.

Step 2

SEND US THE FORM

Once completed, forms may be either: a) Faxed at 905-891-1889 IF paying with a credit card b) Emailed at info@camptournesol.ca by scanning a completed and signed copy of the form IF paying with a credit card c) Mailed with payment by cheque to: Camp Tournesol 169 Oakes Drive Mississauga, Ontario L5G-3M2 Please make the cheque to “Camp Tournesol” and make sure to include the HST. Refer to our fee schedule for details. You may also phone in your information to 905-891-1889 or toll free 1-888-892-1889. In this case, the form with a signature from the parent or guardian must also be faxed to 905-891-1889 or scanned and emailed to info@camptournesol.ca. PLEASE NOTE that registration is on a first-come first-serve basis and can only be guaranteed with payment.

Step 3

CONFIRMATION

Once the registration is processed and payment is confirmed, you will receive an EMAIL confirmation from Camp Tournesol. Confirmation should be received within one week. Please ensure that our email address does not go to your spam folder. If you have not heard from us by then, please contact us to ensure that your form was received. You will also receive a camper’s package in May via email. This will include useful and important information such as what to bring, what to expect, description of the field trips and drop off and pick up times. Please ensure that we have up-to-date email address in order to receive this valuable information. We will also use email as a mean of communication for last minute updates and any changes.

CANADIAN PARENTS FOR FRENCH

Although it is NO LONGER required to be a member of Canadian Parents for French to attend Camp Tournesol, we encourage you to show your support of the French Immersion program by becoming a member. Please visit their website for more information.

MABEL’S LABELS

At the end of summer, there is always a pile of campers belongings left at camp. This is an expensive waste for our campers (and their parents!) As a way to target the problem of lost belongings and a large lost and found closet, we are encouraging our campers to label all belongings. We have partnered with Mabel’s Labels, a company with all types of labels that are colourful, indestructable and fun!
