Camp Tournesol is proud to present: Multidisciplinary March Break Camp

French Camp daily morning activities include:

Cooperation sports, arts and crafts, board and card games which are staples of our traditional summer day camp program. Each day will end with a big camp game that will see all campers from all the different groups come together to play.

Monday

    • Greetings from our welcoming staff as campers settle in and get to know their fellow campers. We will spend the afternoon diving into our campus-wide art project that will be presented on Friday morning.

Tuesday

    • Afternoon of new low-tech STEM experiments sure to engage campers of all ages and spark new interests in the sciences. Our STEM experiments will provide campers with hands on experience while teaching them about molecules and reactions.

Wednesday

    • Afternoon of traditional imaginary campfire singalong songs and cozy up time with hot chocolate, a true camping experience that will make you yearn for summer time. This is featuring camp classics like Banana, Plantez les choux and many more!

Thursday

    • Excursion day! We are headed off campus to Kortright Centre for a Maple Sirup program and a yummy PANCAKE lunch!

Friday

    • Campers will take part in a creativity club each week where a short presentation of a skit or song will be developed by each group on a new theme. Be sure to watch for your campus’ video posting online Friday! Campers will develop their choreography, script, costumes and make-up together as a group to develop new collaborative skills. Friday morning, campers will share their presentations followed by an afternoon of active living including specialized for campers, Peda-Yoga

  • French immersion and Francophone students in grades 1 to 3
  • French learners or francophone students in JK to Grade 1

This program is offered to students in French immersion or French schools, as well as those looking to learn French. The groups will be separated so that we can maintain the French conversation all day at a comfortable level for all campers! Provide your child an opportunity to discover new activities all in French.
