FREE Winter Workbook in FRENCH!

Cold weather, warm mittens, and hot chocolate – the winter spirit is definitely in the air! We wish that everyday could consist of tobogganing and building snowmen, but sometimes all you want is a cozy day spent indoors. What’s better for a day like that than a workbook full of fun French vocabulary and activities?

We at Camp Tournesol are dedicated to providing quality French programming during the summer, but we also want to make sure that there are plenty of resources for French learners who want to continue going above and beyond during the school year. This is why we create our highly requested FREE French workbooks! This booklet contains essential French vocabulary and phrases in relation to the winter season, as well as some awesome activities that will reinforce the vocabulary and phrases learned. How to get the most out of our free workbooks:

We recommend to use the pages of the workbook in order. Our first few pages include important vocabulary and expressions that you may need to know in order to complete the later activities. The best way to learn the expressions is to say them out loud to someone or to try using them in a sentence of your own. If there is any word that you don’t understand, don’t hesitate to use a French/English dictionary! We recommend using Linguee.com or WordReference.com if you don’t have a paper dictionary handy.

Once you reach the activities portion of the workbook, make sure you check back to the vocabulary and expressions list to help you complete them. Reading the instructions and saying your possible answers out loud also helps with pronunciation and learning to use the words/phrases naturally. Most importantly, have fun and give yourself a pat on the back for completing the workbook!
