Teens, more than ever before, are looking for ways to connect and get involved. And if they are in French immersion, they need the opportunity to exchange in French. This is where we come in!
Our team has developed an amazing line-up of virtual programs and workshops to help teens connect with teens, continue to enrich their French and develop new skills that will prepare them for the adult world.
Our program will help them develop skills such as resume building, maintaining mental health, financial literacy, finding your passion, and more. Through workshops and activities (all held in French!), this program will positively contribute to the students’ leadership development and more.
This program is open to all students from grades 6-10!
Our French virtual camps will come to your house via the well-known Zoom platform. By now, most children have grown accustomed to connecting virtually with their schools or our own programming. “Zooming” has become a verb! Our team has invested time and effort into becoming well acquainted with this platform and we are ready to take on the virtual world!
You register for our Teen Meets World package which will include:
A great value of $395 plus HST

It is designed to inspire future leadership so that teens will feel comfortable assisting during our virtual camps if they so choose! So join us for an hour of fun and leadership in club 78!

Mental health is a growing and complicated subject, but we are here to simplify it for you! Now more than ever is an important time for adolescents to learn about mental health and self-care. This workshop will ensure our teens are equipped with appropriate and effective resources to stay mentally healthy. What better way to do this than to connect with peers who are experiencing the same things you are? During this workshop campers will:

Early high school years mark significant transitions as your kids become more independent and more capable. There’s a lot to learn and experience before they are ready to head off into the world. This workshop will help teens navigate the financial world and dive into the notion of value. With other teens their age, campers will:
Monday, July 27th or Saturday, August 1st from 1:30-4:30
Do you have a ton of enthusiasm and nowhere to start? Are you not too sure what your passions are or what your purpose is? This workshop will help teens on their path to self-discovery and will tap into their vision. Alongside other teens their age, campers will:
Thursday, July 23rd or Saturday, August 8th from 1:30-4:30
July 18th from 1PM to 4PM
In today’s world everything is online, especially right now! Our teens are spending a lot of time on Zoom for school, Google to search facts and FaceTime, Snapchat, Instagram and other social media platforms to catch up with their friends. What better time to learn about online safety and presence?
During this workshop, campers will learn about fake news vs. real news, credible sources, staying safe online and how to create an appropriate online presence. At the end, they will receive a certificate from Camp Tournesol identifying them as “Online Safety Ambassadors.”
Saturday June 27th from 10AM to 12PM
After completing Club 78 or Club 91, the Enrich Your French class, as well as a minimum of 2 workshops of their choice, campers will receive their Leadership certification. They will then be eligible to register as a CIT (Counsellor in Training) to put their leadership skills into action.
This will be valid for Summer 2020 and Summer 2021. CITs will be mentored by our counsellors during our Virtual or In-Person French Summer Camps. They will have the opportunity to foster a sense of responsibility and leadership by getting involved, leading activities and making a difference in the younger campers’ experience.
Exclusive to our “Teen Meets World” students, before the 6th week of Club 78 they will receive: a package including our Grey Long Sleeve “Je Parle Français” shirt, our 2020 Red Camp T-shirt, our branded non-medical face mask, and our super-cool pen equipped with a screen cleaner.
